Quickstart

First run

The first time you run Polytoken with no configuration file, Polytoken opens the configurator and shows a welcome dialog. It lists the two setup steps that get you to a working session, and links to the documentation and the Discord server. Click a link in the dialog to copy its address to your clipboard.

• Create a provider. If you are unsure where to start, Codex and z.ai’s GLM are good first choices.
• Configure web search. This step is optional but recommended.

Press OK, or press Esc, to dismiss the dialog and start configuring. Polytoken shows the welcome dialog only when no config file exists. Once you save a configuration, it no longer appears.
